Marae projects
Solar Options has implemented solar energy advice and systems for Marae in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Marae across NZ are installing and utilising solar technology within the Marae environment. Solar energy systems have been installed on Marae to completely generate enough power to operate the wharekai, wharenui and produce enough hot water to service the ablution blocks. Te Puni Kokiri
Solar Options has worked with whanau and Te Puni Kokiri to have solar systems supplied to help whånau meet some housing needs. Whanau have been successful in applying for housing assistance through the TPK Maori Housing Network and were eligible to receive assistance to have new solar panels with a new battery storage system installed. School projects and community projects
Solar Options designed a small hybrid solar system to meet the energy requirements of a local community medical centre. Special requirements of the customer were that in the event of a grid power outage, that the medical centre refrigeration, computer and communication systems to their medical staff would still be operational.
